Our back yard in late spring. Many invasive black locusts and wild cherries were removed long ago and replaced with new trees to deliver privacy, shade, and seasonal interest.
The Japanese Maple is the focal point in our partially shaded yard. Evergreen foundation plantings and ground covers thrive together in this low maintenance combination.
A River Birch, Silver Maple, Ginkgo, and Yellowwood provide a shade canopy for the west-facing back yard. Limited fencing on the right property line provides privacy in a narrow spot and also gives a backdrop to the perennial garden.
